Federal at the low end is 12%
then local tax is 25%
the a labor tax ( what ever that is ) 8%
So even the lowest workers pay 45%, the highest is 52%. But the labor tax is added on to that.
A few years ago I saw a video on this exact thing ( burger king ), and averaging out the cost of living the american worker did a little better income wise. Benefit wise the Danish employee did a little better, but the taxes they paid is what gave them the vacation and extra stuff. So in the video they said it really was a wash, both workers ended up about the same standards of living and ability to pay for things.

Demark has universal health care. The person making your whopper in Denmark is probably not ill.

The US pays the most per capita health care cost in the world. We pay probably twice what Denmark pays.

I agree with your first point. I have trouble when I hear of first world, functioning democracies that have such awful....

i have been to denmark twice. it was awesome. i didn't hear a siren for days. happy people.

Not bad... after federal taxes of 12% , he'll make the equivalent of about $30,000 US/year.

For the state, then Municipal and Regional have to be tallied as well. Closer to 50%
