4. If Tapper is so opposed to a short term solution he should put pressure on the Republicans.

Wednesday

Today it's a question of SNAP benefits. If the Democrats give in too quickly, it will affect health care. And the day after that, the Republicans will figure out a way to defund SNAP completely, anyway.

Lots of moving parts. Too bad Tapper isn't quick enough to keep up.
