To some, they sound unbelievable. Not to me, but to some.

And I'm not asking you to believe Riley, I'm pointing out that many do.

Sometimes, outlandish things are true.

When you stop looking at an individual story as a stand alone entity, and place it in context of other similar stories, a story may not seem so outlandish anymore.

And, a story doesn't have to be perfectly true via exact details, but it can be true in scope and generalities, especially when a distant memory is concerned.
