A crazy volatile market like they're creating is great for options trading, without any special insider information. I'm (well, my portfolio; I have an excellent manager) up 36% year-to-date…as in the last 21 days. Virtually all options trades, especially in metals.

I can't say I'd recommend it if you manage your portfolio yourself, it's a whole different sport than stocks, but it's an incredibly lucrative market if you know how to work it..
