Trump is an infamous serial liar. But he's also an ignorant serial liar. He knows nothing about American history or world history. He makes it up on the fly.

Add that to his early declaration:

Don't trust anything you read, see or hear. Trust only me. Only I can fix it.

Set it to music and it's the Cult's anthem.
