Trump at minus 40% net approval among Indies (27% to 67%) [View all]
President Trump’s support from independent voters dropped to a new low across both terms in office, according to the latest Economist/YouGov poll.The survey, conducted over the weekend, shows Trump’s net job approval among independents at negative 40 percentage points, with 27 percent approving and 67 percent disapproving.
That marks a significant drop from the previous week, when Trump’s net approval was negative 31 percentage points among independents, and from earlier this month, when it stood at negative 28 percentage points.
