11. This is good news, BUT.

Kudos to the judge, BUT how many court orders has ICE ignored or outright defied in the last year? I can't remember, but I know it's a very large number. Even when they carry one out, they invent as many excuses to drag their feet as possible and create as many unnecessary delays as they can. (Exhibit A: the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case, which took a Supreme Court decision to get a mistakenly deported person returned to the the U.S.)

For the above reasons, I'm not going to breathe a sigh of relief until they're back home, safe and sound. Fingers crossed🤞that this will happen soon.

Note: I used to call myself a cockeyed optimist, but Trump 2.0 has been gradually beating that out of me. I didn't realize just how much until I read this o.p. I hope to God that the country will be rid of that Orange Hellbeast before I and and many others are permanently, irresistibly embittered.
