The data speaks for itself. Trump was the only force they could latch on to for one more grasp at power and cultural relevance. But even that hope is dying. Once he's gone, they're finished.

There will always be goobers out there wanting to create something diabolical. Good thing is, there are only so many Trumps to be used as vehicles. They cannot do all that you fear on their own. Without Trump, they're just goobers. And the rest of us aren't going to fucking have it. Never, ever discount that.
