5. Grass fed beef is much better than grain-fed/finished meat.

Grass-fed beef tastes better, it has a distinctly "beefier", meatier flavor. Some people call it "gamey", but, while I won't try to yum someone's yuck, TBH that's someone who's never had anything more intense than American feedlot beef; it's nothing compared to venison (which isn't gamey at all if it's harvested and handled properly), let alone wild boar or even moreso wild duck. It's also "healthier" insomuch as it has something like 3x as many omega-3s, and is leaner overall.

On the downside, it is leaner than feedlot beef, but that doesn't mean dry like (modern) pork or chicken; as long as you aren't cooking it past medium-rare it's pretty much a nonissue. If anything, it's nicer to get a strip that has less of a fat cap, there's more meat on the plate.

The real sticky wicket here is the cost, grassfed beef is usually like $2-3 more a pound than feedlot meat because it's widely considered more desirable…tripling the imports isn't going to make much difference in market prices if it's going to sell for $7 instead of $4.50.
