than the average citizen, and doing jobs they don't want to do.

The "illegal" ones in particular are critical because they pay into social security and medicare, but cannot later avail themselves of the payouts they'd otherwise be due. In fact, far from being a burden, "illegals" pay great dividends to the country, for the above reasons (working for less, and minimal federal benefits). That's the REAL reason that both sides were fairly lenient about immigration enforcement, until dipshit IQ47 came along then demagogued (and lied his ass off) about the situation, triggering the latent nativist impulses of a certain segment of the population so he could get into power and initiate his (and P2025's) ongoing scheme of turning the USA into a fascist dictatorship.

But, yeah, the unfortunate reality is that we will have to leverage AI, because the rest of the world will do so.
