ICE around Eugene Oregon using bright lights to prevent videos of night arrests [View all]

A young woman came across police arresting her mother - a greencard-holder who works as a Spanish interpreter for the police! When she started recording, they shined bright lights at her to prevent it.

The comments in the Reddit discuss ways to possibly work around these new tactics. ICE has had a very heavy presence around Eugene and surrounding smaller towns. Eugene is a college town and has had a lot of rowdy anti-ICE protests.
