(29,556 posts)55. The Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction was the most overblown thing ever.
I watched that Super Bowl show and didn't even notice it at the time (and it only lasted for a micro second). Neither did anyone else at the Super Bowl party I was at. But someone did and they skewed it completely out of proportion.
My partner commented that the real reason for the outrage was that a bunch of the commercials that year were for ED products and they just didn't want the competition. It was pretty hypocritical of people to complain about one but not the other!
