7. Probably windows. I can't advise on how to do things in Windows.

I do my conversions on a mac, which makes the job very easy.

Most people don't know but you can right/control click on an image and under "Quick Actions" do a lot of stuff, namely
• Convert Image (which really means both convert format and resize. Resize is enormously useful) and
• Remove Background. It used to take a powerful photo editor to do that, and not always well.

MUCH harder on an iphone or ipad, due to some (IMO) user-hostile design decisions.

Windows? No idea. I don't like online tools. Too many steps and too much waiting around.

I will be going over to Linux, thanks to TimTrump Cook, and I'll share. I used linux a ton in the past.
