While it was somewhat entertaining... those who are educated on the actual event see the Hollywood fiction introduced and realize the actual political intrigue involved in the real event... Russia wanted no trial at all... just the executions. Some US and British leaders wanted a public trial to reframe the concept of "aggressive war"... but in reality it was certainly a performative process with no real question as to outcome.

the summary is... Nazis were Nazis to the end... and Goering escaped the noose.
