But, the Saudis, with no external impetus, decided to increase production, causing prices to drop.
I'm outraged about how this crime family has enriched themselves by leveraging temporary residency in the WH.
But, the Saudis don't control oil prices and their current rate of production in under half that of the US. If we add Canada and Mexico, North America produces nearly 3x the oil as does Saudi Arabia.
The Iran misadventure will probably push oil prices up, but $100 seems unrealistically high.
