3. I'm beginning to believe this whole thing was just because he wanted something to make himself feel good again.

His health is shaky. He constantly talks about getting into heaven or how he's not getting into heaven. His poll numbers are dismal and in a downward trend. His tariffs have caused the economy to contract. The Epstein story fades from the scene, then comes back with a vengeance. Rinse and repeat. He can't shake it. And I think even he knows that he's lost much of his fastball when it comes to mesmerizing his dopey base.

That doesn't answer your endgame question, though. The best-case scenario is that he becomes bored with Iran and gets back to brutalizing Americans.
