I am biracial. My mother is Black and we have numerous relatives who were born and raised in Texas. Three of my aunts and two of my cousins still live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. All of them supported Crockett. Precisely zero of them have said they will not support Talarico, and one of my aunts has been an atheist since the 70s and said Talarico's god-squadding is a turnoff. Yet, she still plans to vote for him, as do my other aunts and cousins.
It's as if you and other -- I'm assuming -- nonblack people just want black folks who may be disappointed to shut up and get in line. Life doesn't work like that. And the fact that you think a "new" poster expressing the sort of frustration, I, my mother, my aunts, and every other black woman in this country is "stirring up trouble" is rather despicable of you.
