Russia has killed a Ukrainian athlete, hours after the Russian flag flew at Winter Paralympics in Italy.

On 6 March, the Russian flag was carried at the opening ceremony of the Winter Paralympics in Italy.
That same night, Russia launched another missile strike on Ukraine. Among the victims was Hordii Udovychenko, a young hockey player from the Bilyi Bars club. Hordii will be nine years old forever.
His mother, Olena Udovychenko, a primary school teacher at Kharkiv Lyceum No. 6, was also killed in the attack.
