(WGN News) 'Terrifying': Family says Evanston-born U.S. citizen detained for hours after returning to O'Hare [View all]
This is yet another tale of US CBP and ICE detaining returning US citizens and lying about the whereabouts of that detention (almost a 30 hour detention in the case of Sunny Naqvi, one of the US citizens) to people who have tracked the detained person's phone.
Is this the effect of a quota system? White House incompetence? CBP/ICE incompetence? Homan's incompetence? The flaccid MAGA GOP majority in the US Congress? Trump's boundlessly disinterested stupidity, carelessness, and cruelty to others? Miller's Nazi-esque tendencies? or All of the above?
