8. I've been involved with other historic anniversaries

And I was actually recruited several years back (I think it was during Trump's first term actually to so how long ago it was) to get involved with America 250, but I had just come off of heavy multiple year involvement in another commemoration, so I politely declined. Up until a year ago, part of me had regretted it because I thought this would have been a lot of fun. But when Trump came back and started to take over America 250, suddenly I was relieved I had not gotten wrapped up in it!
