Who sets the schedule for trials, and the hearings regarding various motions before a trial can even begin, the judge or the AG? Who sets the schedule for the appeals on rulings, the judge or the AG? (OK, thats two questions)
That is why the choice of AG would have made absolutely no difference in the outcome.
Garland is not the villain of this story.
