Are you fucking kidding me? That's what they are worried about?!?

I think we didn't have an appreciation of what no traffic through the Strait of Hormuz means for the world.

Taiwan gets the majority of its LNG through there and that's what powers the country and powers all those semiconductor plants that build the electronic components we all depend on.

Fertilizer that helps feed the world comes through there.

Oil comes through there.

Places like China needs to get oil through there. They will run out of oil in a couple months (there isn't enough oil from Russia or the US or Canada or Mexico to kept them supplied) and I strongly suspect they will get very grumpy, very quickly and won't be happy with us.

A byproduct of oil processing is sulfur, which is used to make sulphuric acid, which in turn is used to make all kinds of stuff, especially electronic components.

I'm not saying that the Iran government were good people but this was NOT the way.
Especially with Israel destroying those storage facilities.
Especially with them killing the new leader of Iran's entire family, father, wife, children, all dead because of us.

If we were supposed to be "liberating the Iranian people" we sure went about it a crazy way. I don't think killing 200 children and blackening their skies and raining down acid on them is how you endear people to your cause.
