Even assuming that post-occupation Cuba doesn’t launch insurgencies, I suspect that both the law enforcement and economic agencies will be extremely non-co-operative and that any US corporations thinking they’ll start operating Cuba’s existing resorts will find themselves in second, third or fourth place behind European and East Asian competitors.

As for the Cuban emigres, I doubt they’ve thought much about their being stained with the onus of “Vende-patria”, (traitorous sellers-out of the fatherland) or how the stench from the Trumpie occupation will stick to them. But I suspect they’ll find out and they won’t like the lesson.
