27. Rec'd, but just a note that Tucker had warned against starting this war and was warning about "unconditional surrender"

and how unacceptable it was the Trump considered sending ground troops because many soldiers don't come back the same and some break and do things they'd never do in peacetime or back at home. I'm no Tucker fan, but on Trump's broken promises and on this war, he's been spot on.

Here's the full context where he was talking about the madness of trying to pursue an unconditional surrender in Iran and how rape is happens with that. It starts at minute 21

"It takes Ulysses Grant who is willing to sacrifice literally hundreds of thousands of casualties for an entire year-long period to get to that point. That's what unconditional surrender means. And that is what the president has been demanding. And I want every American to realize that unconditional surrender if that is the true demand and it is now. He said President Trump said make Iran great again. Uh this morning that is can only be enforced with an ocean of American blood and that is not something in our national interest. We are walking every single day closer to that possibility and it is an abomination if you ask me.
Unconditional surrender means foreign troops get to rape your wife and daughter if they want. And everyone knows that. And that has been, if there's one consistent lesson of history, it means unconditional surrender means foreign troops get to rape your wife and daughter. Everyone can feel that. That's like the most sadistic instinct there is. And so, to avoid that, people will do anything. And so that's why it requires that level of force to get a population subdued to the point of unconditional surrender. That's why. And so, in this case, of course, we don't have the ground force necessary. I don't think Americans would voluntarily participate in it. I just don't think we can do that. It would require weapons of mass destruction. It would require presumably nuclear weapons in order to do that. And let's stop let's not lie to ourselves. We're moving toward that.
