Trump - 1st vs 2nd term. Staffing & options. A brief thought. [View all]

There were more than a few published articles about “handling” Trump in the first term. The Generals - his series of Chiefs of Staffs, Secretaries of Defense, Pentagon and Intel briefers as well as the revolving cast of clowns and jokers all workshopped how to place options and in what order. President Obama said, at the end of his terms, how remarkable it was that military options were always at the top of the list for anything related to foreign matters.

They did a good job. Frankly, Trump was weak in the first term. He pump-faked on several occasions.

The second term reflects the 3rd string JV staff and fealty of an inner circle don’t offer him any options other than ATTACK.

This is hyper aggressive, flippant, childish, uninformed, and uncontrolled …or controlled.
