He’s so compromised by Epstein and his own venality that he could be made to do nearly anything.

The Saudis and every other Gulf state warned against it, whatever normal military advisors remain warned against it but he did it anyway. Anyone with sense knew this would be a disaster.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we find out later on that he was given a substantial monetary package and had Epstein evidence held over him.

There’s no way a person such as he should have ever been allowed to take office.
