Trump has spent the last year-plus mocking and belittling European allies, hitting them with tariffs, waffling on support for Ukraine and giving aid and comfort to Putin, threatening to invade European territory (Greenland) and just generally throwing his weight around like the belligerent dick that he is.

Then, without consulting or warning any of our European allies, he attacks Iran, causing them to close the Strait of Hormuz -- an outcome that everyone except Trump knew was likely. And then, he tells those European allies that they need to clean up the mess HE made, and that if they don't then they're worthless.

At this point -- given Trump's bellicose rhetoric, tariffs, literal threats of invasion, and now cutting off of energy supplies and other goods to Europe, further damaging their economies -- how long will it be before our former allies start viewing the U.S. as an actual adversary?
