AI can be a tool used for innovation. But without a coder guiding it, it cannot create something new itself. But if they get rid of coders, who will learn the skills to have AI help with innovation.
And you are right, the money spent on AI will not be recouped, eventually the big companies that rent the data centers from the over leveraged landlords will pull back. Bonds will be forfeit and a 2008 like crash is on the way.
