2. Nothing educates more than doing the exercises yourself.

One can learn if they take seriously an effort to understand a solution spit out by some LLM, but the long term memory of true learning comes from your own trials and tribulations of doing the exercises yourself. The LLM can still be a good assistant though. It has definitely been helpful for me to validate my own work. It’s not a black and white thing.

See Terry Tao’s comment below…he was a full professor at UCLA at the age of 21 when I was in grad school at the math department…before he won the Fields medal.
