How many wounded? [View all]
There are US bases surrounding Iran -- in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the like.
We know most/all of these have been hit by Iranian attacks. The only two we have heard about were (1) the "tin shack" where six were killed and "over 20" were wounded, and (2) one of the attacks on the US airbase in Saudi Arabia where several aircraft were destroyed on the ground and 3 wounded (which I don't believe).
I saw one and only one report -- don't remember the source -- that Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany, had closed their OB ward and NICU to prepare for an influx of wounded, then saw one report that close to 300 had been evacced to Landstuhl and from there to Stateside military medical centers.
Neither Trump nor Kegbreath has said a word about wounded. Given that our bases are under attack from bombs, missiles, and drones, we should expect a lot of blast injuries, including Traumatic Brain Injuries -- TBI, essentially huge concussions. But not a word about our brave wounded. Has Trump or Kegbreath gone to Walter Reed to pin on Purple Hearts ? (The Purple Heart is awarded only for wonds suffered in combat.)
Why the silence?
I have written to both my Senators (Democrats) and my Representative (MAGAt) with this question.
