We all admire Obama's eloquence, and he would refer to "people like myself" - see the second of the quotes here: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/classroom/daily-videos/2023/08/newshour-interview-with-president-obama

Not the only time he said it. He said "people like myself" and "somebody like myself" here, for instance:
