Israel doesn't matter so long as he can continue rule over a Greater Israel.
At first, he was just a well off Muslim hating right wing corrupt politician with local mob ties.
Now he's a rather deluded well off Mobster politician under indictment who hates Muslims, but uses conflict with them to stave off a trial and hold onto power.
He doesn't care who dies - Arabs, Jews, Palestinians, Druze, civilians, military...
All that matters is that he stays in power, out of jail and keeps making bank off investments and other benefits with his fellow mobster type "business partners"
