Then 24 hrs later, his whole party discovered the actual deal was so toxic, they could not accept it. So they sent Vance to get another deal. The Iranians knowing Trump wants out, simply wasn't going to cave to any deal but the one they offered.

Trump played his cards already. He will now either have to redeal or walk away from the table. The Iranians clearly think he's walking away from the table.
