trying to entice voters who ultimately didn't vote for her and were never going to vote for her, anyway. That time would've been better spent pursuing Latino, Arab, and working class voters. It also turned off a lot of progressive and anti-establishment voters who were on the fence about her, just a fiasco any way you slice it.
