According to Pew Research, Democrats made up 39% of CBS News' viewership, it's been rated as a left-leaning news network for decades. David Ellison, chairman and CEO of Paramount Skydance, and a huge Trump supporter, is obviously trying to remake CBS News into another rightwing propaganda outlet. Ellison doesn't care about losing money on the news division, his other assets will benefit from Republicans in power.
