And that was with my Kroger points I saved up for the month of April. Fortunately I am retired and own a Honda Civic, so I usually only fill up once a month, but my total was $48 and my tank wasn't even almost empty. Ever since I've owned that car (2015) it has cost me anywhere between $20-$28 to fill up.
Let's not forget about the impact it has on just about everything else also. Every single one of my monthly utility bills has gone up and not just a little. Then there's the cost of groceries. I feel sorry for people trying to raise children and run a household in this economy.
