Something more like Desmond Tutu's Truth and Reconciliation Commission, which investigated human rights violations during South Africa's apartheid years and invited victims of gross human rights violations to give testimony about their experiences. Identified violators could apply for amnesty though most applications were denied. The commission shed light on what really happened through public hearings, which will be essential after the Trump regime falls.
