1. Despite the possibility of any plan backfiring, Dems need to take the gloves off and embrace the risk

American voters are waiting for this kind of fight-back action from the Democratic Party and its leadership. Trump's lackeys have been riding roughshod over laws and norms, making a joke of every American institution.

Our own party and leaders need to stand their ground even if it means fighting ugly.

Because the risk of not fighting, of not pulling out all the stops is far riskier and more grave. This is our last chance to stop these goons and their destruction of the country's democratic values. After SCOTUS willingly and with malicious intent dismantled the Voting Rights Act, nothing should be off the table.

Americans are experiencing economic hardship; there's plenty more of that to come without a change in direction. Trump and his billionaire buddies are in the process of strip-mining the Nation of its money, resources and credibility. They're attempting to normalize fraud in all things. Now, of course, it's our elections because they know they can't win in a fair system.

Fight now or be prepared for a lifetime of regret.
