There are multiple reasons why Trump is not addressing the economy and "affordability" as we head into the midterms.
1). Looks like he's using the Pottery Barn rule. By blaming Biden FOR HIS OWN ACTIONS over the last SIXTEEN MONTHS, he's saying "I'm not going to fix it. Biden broke it" (and we all know TRUMP broke it with his tariffs).
2). HE is NOT hurting personally. Do a Google search and you'll fins out that his net worth has tripled since 1/20/25.
3). He has ALREADY GONE ON NATIONAL TV and YELLED at America over "affordability," saying America was complaining about a "Democrat hoax" ( remember when COVID was "the new Democrat hoax?" ), and that the ONLY reason why Americans are complaining is that they have FAILED to THANK HIM ENOUGH for everything he's done?
4). He KNOWS he can't fix it, so burying his head in the sand is his preferred option.
5). And, the biggest reason...he really doesn't GIVE A FUCK. He wants his BALLROOM, he wants his "ARCH," he wants to play Patton or General Douglas McArthur and post AI CosPlay images of himself and play golf at taxpayers' expense but he SIMPLY DOES NOT GIVE A FUCK about the economy.
It's like January 6, when a furious Trump demanded the metal detectors be taken down because "they're not here to hurt me." He didn't care about anyone else getting hurt ot killed. He took a clear "I DON'T GIVE A FUCK" cavalier attitude about the insurrectionists hunting down Mike Pence to hang him. He has a similar attitude toward you when you go grocery shopping.
