Not based on reality. China has problems like everyone, but they are growing and modernizing. The current pace could lead to a time where China is a leader on tech, the environment, and diplomacy. The current path for the US under Trump is making the US a follower and gadfly while China moves towards leadership.

The "China Update" youtube channel is a particularly notorious piece of fantastical anti-China propaganda that is regularly posted on DU.
