(14,061 posts)Your OP is exactly what the Republicans want, imo. Dems need to focus on core issues. I'm highly skeptical of what I consider to be over the top, rotgut hyperbole presented as authenticity and righteous vengeance. It may be sincere (TM), but it's politically misguided.
We're in an election year, and the Republicans are going to completely try to paint us as angry extremists and contemptuous of normies. The majority of us Dems, who are cool-headed and clear thinking, will have our voices drowned out if we allow it to happen. We shouldn't. Moderates are the base, imo.
Older voters, who vote in midterms disproportionately, won't like hot head, ranty stuff. It should be obvious that stuff like this OP will clearly rub senior voters (and the majority moderates in general) the wrong way.

1. Campaign on affordability
2. Campaign on Social Security and Medicare
3. Campaign on healthcare
4. Campaign on public safety
5. Don't let Republicans or the sensationalist media choose who talks for us.
6. Go to Step 1 and repeat
