I judge him on what I see now, and I see an excellent advocate for progressive values, unions, and working people. I think the chances of him turning into a Fetterman or Sinema are negligible.

If he wins, and I'm proven wrong, unless he changes his party affiliation to R, even a fetterman clone representing Maine as a Democrat puts us one senator closer to the majority. And having a Democratic Majority Leader setting the agenda is a big f-ing deal even if there are traitors within the caucus.

I dug pretty deep (for my incredibly modest means) and made a donation as a vote of confidence as his campaign weathers the storm.
