Hate getting behind a giant SUV because it obscures my view of what's happening in front of them on the road.
In 1994 I bought an economy car that got 52 MPG on the highway and 48 in the city. I figured in another 30 years that would be average for gas mileage, boy was I wrong. Outside of fully electric, there are no vehicles getting that many miles per gallon, even most hybrids.

Semis are mostly on freeways and industrial areas, not many pedestrians crossing streets in front of them.
