To travel as close to
The speed
Of light as
Our sight
And have realized
Even sound
Should be
Instantaneous
So if
Very important
Data
Is transmitted
At a speed
Less
Than now
We become irritable
Even irascible
Perhaps irrational
Because the gravity
Of the situation
Does not drop like a rock
With the familiar
Thud
But
Instead wafts
On sonic wave
And woof
Of truth’s
Indelible measure
