... in defense of Dr. Howard Dean when he rallied his troops with that perfectly innocent battle cry; his supposed "I have a scream" speech. I met and spoke with Dr. Dean when he was governor of Vermont, where I live. He did not deserve the right-wing vitriol at the time, and he SURE as hell didn't deserve to be sandbagged by the people that should have had his back.
