some of the nonsense going on now. Some of it could be good Democrats who are old enough to remember when even a hint of socialism scared people ...... like when idiots raged against FDR and LBJ for proposing and passing socialist programs. There are states and districts where non-Democrats are still frightened of the prospect, and unaware that a centralized state socialism with secret police and really mean people isn't what is being proposed. The old "stick in the mud" mentality still exists.

In a country this large and diverse, we have the very real possibility of winning in a landslide with a variety of candidates that actually represent the wide variety of people in this country. It is a giggle that doing so would actually benefit the vast majority of the maga population. They don't recognize this, of course, because they are hypnotized by the messaging of the billionaires that seek to divide this country, and capitalize on the hostility they promote.
