24. Why would they bother correcting him on the spot?

He'd just tell them they're wrong and move on. Most reports will include the correct information. Most people would realize he's wrong, but his hardcore supporters would accept what he says as inerrant truth and some of those who know its excrement will still support him.

There's almost no point anymore. The best alternative is to simply not put a microphone in front of him.
