6. There's one thing I remember from my childhood and that's Ike's photo on my grandparent's living room wall.

I don't think they were overly political, by a long shot, but they loved Eisenhower. I remember how excited my grandmother and great aunt were to travel the newly constructed Interstate highway for 20 miles to one of their favorite places to shop.
