Is it his handling of the media and relentlessly beating up on opponents?

Are we misjudging how big his following is?

I don't get it. But then again, I think he's one of the most disgusting, off-putting, conniving, and deceitful public figures I've ever seen. And I'm in my early 70s now. I watch this stuff almost like it's a hobby. And I've NEVER seen an operator like him. And hey, I remember Richard Nixon.
