Yesterday

The Bicentennial in 1976 was kind of like that, but if you're too young to have experienced that celebration all you've got is this simulacrum, which Trump has turned into a mean-spirited party for himself. Some of you will see the Tricentennial - I won't, but I hope it's a hell of a lot better than this.
